Your website, your domain and your email move to us without going down. Here is exactly how, step by step, with you able to stop it at any point.
Nothing is touched until the new site is ready
We build or copy your website first, on an address only you and we can see. You look at it, you tell us what to change, and only when you say it is right do we point your domain at it. Until that moment your current site keeps serving exactly as it does today.
Every DNS record is captured first
Before anything moves we write down every record your domain has: where your website points, where your email goes, and every verification your other tools rely on. That list is kept, so anything that was working before is put back working after.
This is the step that goes wrong when a website gets moved by someone in a hurry, and it is why email disappears. We do not skip it.
Your email keeps arriving
Your mail records are moved across unchanged, or moved on purpose with you watching. Nobody loses a message. If you use a mailbox on your own domain, it keeps working during the whole move and after it.
The switch happens with you watching
We agree a time, we make the change, and we check the site, the certificate and a real test email together. If anything looks wrong you say stop and we put it back the way it was, in minutes.
Your domain ends up in your name
If the domain is already yours, it stays yours and we only change where it points. If it is stuck with a previous provider or registered in someone else's name, we move it to your business, not to ours. You can see it in your panel from the first day, and the day you want to leave you take it with you.
What we need from you
Access to your domain, whatever access exists to your current website, and your photos and text if you have them somewhere. If a previous provider is not replying, tell us: we have done that conversation before.
How long it takes
Most moves are done in two days once we have access. A domain transfer between registrars can take up to five days, and that clock is set by the registry, not by us. Your website and your email are working the whole time either way.
What it costs
Nothing on top of your plan. Moving in is included, including keeping your current design if you like it.
